F.A.Q.

1. What do I need to bring to my notary appointment?

You’ll need a valid government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license, passport, or state ID card. Make sure the name on your ID matches the name on your document. Please also bring any unsigned documents that need to be notarized — do not sign them beforehand.

3. What is a “loan signing agent”?

A loan signing agent is a certified notary who specializes in handling real estate and mortgage documents. I work with escrow officers, lenders, and clients to ensure all documents are signed, notarized, and returned correctly — helping your transaction close smoothly.

5. Can you notarize documents online or remotely?

Currently, I only provide in-person notarizations to comply with California law. Remote online notarization (RON) is not yet authorized for use by California notaries.

2. Do you offer mobile notary services?

Yes! I offer mobile notary services throughout Sonora, Jamestown, Columbia, and surrounding foothill areas. I’ll come to your home, office, hospital, or other agreed-upon location to make the process convenient for you.

4. Do you provide apostille services?

Yes — I offer apostille facilitation for clients who need documents verified for use in another country. While I don’t issue apostilles myself, I’ll guide you through the process and handle notarization to ensure your documents are ready for state submission.

6. What areas do you serve?

I serve Sonora, Jamestown, Columbia, and nearby Tuolumne County communities. For locations beyond that area, please reach out — I may still be able to accommodate you for an additional travel fee.
